WWC--Inspire and Create

The Weekly Words Challenge, brought to you by the terrific Tink.

These words are getting tougher. But here it goes!

Inspire: I get inspired by yarn--the colors, the texture, the feel of it.

Create: Once inspired, something can be created. These are prayer shawls made by ladies in our group.

In other news, I'm thinking of following in Susan's shoes and participating in NaNoWriMo, or National Novel Writing Month. Write a 50,000 word novel in November? Hmmmmm. Intriguing, and yet completely undoable! That's over 1,600 words a day! But what the hell. I'm looking for a challenge.

But right now, I have Halloween candy to buy. Yeah, nothing like waiting till the last minute.

I am doing NaNoWriMo. I did it last year and failed miserably, but I am trying again.

I just finished a knitting class at my local adult school. I enjoyed very much, but I am just not great yet. Your shawls are amazing. They looks so soft. Great work with the WWC.

Actually, I think you made PERFECT use of the words!

Good luck with NaNoWriMo. I'd attempt it, but won't for fear I might lose what little marbles I have left. Hehe.

I have only ever been able to knit a book marker. The shawls look beautiful. I'm afraid I would snuggle up and fall asleep instead of pray.

I loved the way you interpreted those pictures. It's kind of chilly today! I could use one of those shawls just about now! :)

Karen--yea! Someone else is a glutton for punishment. I signed up today, so we'll see how it goes.

Nettie--I've fallen asleep several times in mine.

Chelle y--they're very easy and fun to make, especially in the cooler weather.

Jay--thanks, dude.

freakazojd--Welcome! and thanks! That yarn comes in so many pretty colors.

joel--Welcome and thank you. I'm going to need all the good luck I can get.

Wow!! Those are gorgeous! I love yarn. I can't work with it very well, but I love the feel of it too... I love how you incorporated that into the words for this week! Great stuff!

Thanks for popping through the 'forrest' ;)
