Anywhooddle, the Weekly Word Challenge is brought to us by the terrific Tink at Pickled Beef. The words this week are brown and pattern. I had all kinds of ideas, but time got away from me, so I'm wingin' it here. Here we go!
My lovely orange mums are now brown.
I love my wool blanket with the pattern of the Ardbeg distillery's tartan.
This is the pattern of the blocks for the afghan I am making for my mother-in-law.
I'll try to be on time next week. But no promises.
Join us, won't you?

You're wool blanket is almost as cool as mine. Almost. ;-)
Very nice photos. I thought of taking photos of the dried up mums for brown too. But instead I decided to dispose of them. That afghan is going to awesome!
I like that wool blanket.
Better late than never, right?
On time next week? Do you really want to break the pattern? tee hee
Good knitting there Kell! It is such a good wintertime activity!
Dried up flowers always depress me, even when I know they'll be back by spring. Ever notice that weeds don't wither away like that? Maybe we should cross-breed the two. ;)
Great afghan pattern! I love the texture. 'Twill be very cozy, I'm sure.
I think we should get a special dispensation for being late, since it was a holiday week. I hate those - even though I only worked three days this week - it still felt like five!
On the other hand, I do love the afghan you are making for your mother-in-law. It looks very cozy.
Love the afghan!
